The short path fractional distillation kit is an equipment used to separate liquid mixtures. Advantages of short path distillation:

1. The distillation temperature is low. Ordinary distillation is carried out at the boiling point temperature, and molecular distillation is carried out at any temperature lower than the boiling point of the distilled substance. As long as the separated substance has a temperature difference, the separation can be achieved.

2. The distillation vacuum is high. The entire material system is under vacuum, and its minimum distillation pressure must be guaranteed to be lower than 0.51Pa. Therefore, the material is not easy to be oxidized and damaged.

3. Short heating time. The distance between the heating surface and the condensation surface of the molecular distillation device is less than the mean free path of light molecules. The light molecules escaping from the liquid surface almost reach the condensation surface without collision, so the heating time is very short. The residence time at the distillation temperature is generally between a few seconds to tens of seconds.

4. Irreversibility. Ordinary distillation is a reversible process of evaporation and condensation, and the liquid phase and the gas phase can form a mutual equilibrium state.

5. There is no boiling bubbling phenomenon. Ordinary distillation has the phenomenon of bubbling and boiling. Molecular distillation is the free evaporation on the surface of the liquid layer. It is carried out at low pressure. There is no dissolved air in the liquid. Therefore, the entire liquid cannot be boiled during the distillation process, and there is no bubbling phenomenon.

6. Non-toxic, harmless, non-polluting, non-residue, can obtain pure and safe products, and the operation process is simple, and the equipment is small.
