Precautions for the use of industrial rotary evaporators:


1. According to the type of processing medium, please wear appropriate protective equipment when operating the rotary evaporator; otherwise, the following dangers may occur: liquid splashing; parts flying out; substances splashed out of the body, hair, and clothing contaminated.

2. Place the rotary steamer on a stable, clean, non-slip, dry and fireproof table.

3. Take care to ensure that there is sufficient space above the instrument, as the glass assembly may exceed the height of the instrument.

4. Please carefully check the equipment and accessories, especially the glass components, for damage before use; do not use broken parts and ensure that the glass components are not stressed. Glass components may break for the following reasons:Damage: Stress caused by incorrect installation, external mechanical force, drastic changes in ambient temperature.

5. Never distill and heat substances whose ignition point is lower than the safe set temperature of the heating pot.

6. The safe temperature of the heating pot should be at least 25°C lower than the ignition point of the medium being processed.

7. Our company's rotary evaporation is only suitable for the medium that does not react to the energy generated in the process and thus produces danger; at the same time, the processed substance cannot reflect the energy generated by other methods, such as light. should be dangerous.

8. In order to ensure the condensation effect of the motor system, do not block the vent of the motor system.

9. Please use the rotary evaporator in a closed fume hood or other suitable protective devices.

10. Select the distillation device according to the amount of distillation and the type of distillation. The condenser must keep working normally. Please pay attention to monitor the flow rate of the cooling liquid at the outlet of the cooler.

11. In order to prevent the accumulation of pressure, the glass components should be kept ventilated when operating under normal pressure. For example the condenser tube remains open.

12. Please note that gas, steam, or other substances may overflow through the upper opening of the condensing tube to cause danger. To reduce and avoid the danger, please take appropriate measures. For example downward connection of cooling pipes and wash bottles or other efficient extraction devices.
