Troubleshooting of spray dryer:
Trouble: Wet powder adhered to the inner wall
Causes and solutions:
1. The feeding speed of the material is too fast and the amount is too large, resulting in failure to dry. The solution is to slow down the feeding speed and quantity, and adjust the feeding pump appropriately.
2. The operation is not performed in accordance with the requirements in the manual, and the main tower is not heated. The solution is to increase the temperature of the inlet and outlet of the dryer.
Fault 2: There are a lot of impurities in the product
Causes and solutions:
1. The spray dryer material contains impurities, which are not filtered out during filtration. The solution for the small spray dryer is to check the air filter and change the filter screen according to the situation.
2. The purity of the material and liquid is not high. The solution is to sample and test the material and filter out the impurities in the material.
3. There are impurities in the equipment. The solution is to clean the equipment regularly to remove impurities.
Trouble three: the phenomenon of powder running is serious, and the recovery rate of the product is low
Causes and solutions:
1. If there is a problem with the cyclone separator, the solution is to check the cyclone separator to see if there are gaps and whether the air tightness is intact.
2. The dust removal performance is low, the solution is to appropriately increase the second dust removal.
Fault 4: The equipment is running very noisy
Causes and solutions:
The atomization disc and bearing of the spray dryer are the main parts that produce noise, so these two parts should be checked, mainly to see if the atomization disc is in a balanced state, the bearing is working normally, and the lubricating oil is added correctly. Damaged, should be repaired or replaced immediately.
Precautions for spray dryer use:
1. The fan must be turned on first, and then the heater.
2. Before shutting down the laboratory organic solvent spray dryer, the heating must be turned off. After the temperature drops, turn off the fan.
3. The laboratory organic solvent spray dryer is equipped with operation protection function. When the fan switch is not turned on, the heater switch cannot be turned on.
4. The equipment is equipped with operation protection function. When the temperature is higher than 60°C, the fan switch cannot be turned off.
5. The laboratory organic solvent spray dryer is equipped with a fault protection function. When the fan frequency conversion alarms, the heater is automatically turned off and cannot be turned on.
