The centrifugal spray dryer atomizer uses a motor-driven speed increaser to drive and adjust the rotating impeller, and atomize the liquid into droplets of tens of microns through centrifugal force. The characteristics of this mode are: large circulation volume, not easy to block, stable operation performance, low energy consumption, large single-machine production capacity, and uniform product particle size. Therefore, it has become the mainstream model of spray dryer. Centrifugal spray dryers are mostly used for drying and other special applications of materials such as liquid emulsions, suspensions, pastes and solutions. Especially for the drying of polymers, resins and other materials, the small centrifugal spray dryer can also be used for the dehydration and drying of dyes, aluminum hydroxide, ammonium bromide, iron oxide red, white carbon black, natural pigments and other materials. How to choose a centrifugal spray dryer:
Taking dairy drying as an example: the shape and size of the drying chamber of a centrifugal spray dryer are related to the form of the atomizer, the air distributor, the exhaust pipe, and the way of powder discharge, depending on the nature of the dairy and the requirements for the product. Mainly used in dairy drying: vertical descent and flow type. In this form of heat and airflow, where the droplets meet, although the airflow temperature is high, the heat is supplied to the water to evaporate, and the actual droplet surface temperature is close to the wet temperature, so the original characteristics of the material can still be maintained. There is an inclined adjusting cylinder in the middle of the DC air distributor, which can prevent the short circuit of the hot air. The hot air moves in a straight line from top to bottom. This device is often used in the dairy industry.
Production method of centrifugal spray dryer:
Air enters the air distributor, located at the top of the dryer. After soaking and heating, the air enters the dryer with the hot air. After being sent to the centrifugal atomizer in the feed tank, it is filtered by the top of the pump in the dryer to spray it in. It is then contacted with hot air to cause a fluid flow of small droplets of material, and the water quickly evaporates and dries into a finished product in a very short time. When the product is discharged from the bottom of the dryer and cyclone, the exhaust gas is drawn and discharged by the blower.
Precautions:
Regular cleaning:
Main unit: Open the door, remove each connecting pipeline, clean the inner tower wall of the main unit, and the waste adhering to each pipeline.
Nozzle: Before finishing the experiment and finishing feeding, it is necessary to pass clean water (solvent that can dissolve the material) to clean the internal pipeline. Finally, remove the pump head and clean the nozzle, shell and other sticky material positions.
Fan: Check whether there is waste accumulated on the filter screen of the air inlet. If there is, it needs to be cleaned up. Generally, it is cleaned every 24 hours. The cleaning frequency of different materials may be different. Please adjust according to your needs.
Switching process and precautions:
·Start the equipment after turning on the power. When the temperature of the inlet and outlet of the equipment is stable (the outlet temperature is above 90 degrees is the best), first adjust the feeding speed with clean water to ensure that the water can be completely spray-dried and there are no water droplets on the tower wall, and then feed ;
·When you stop feeding, you need to immediately clean the pump with clean water, then stop heating and water, and turn off the power when the temperature drops to 50 degrees
·If the feeding is suddenly stopped during the experiment, the material in the pump will dry up under the action of high temperature and cause powder, which will block the feeding pipe
·If the power supply is suddenly disconnected during the experiment, it may cause the heating body to overheat and damage the heating body
·If the outlet temperature suddenly drops a lot or continues to drop during the experiment, or the wind power of the fan decreases, the machine needs to be cleaned in time
Maintenance:
1. Prolonged or improper operation of the spray dryer will cause aggregates to appear on some spray granule dryers, affecting normal operation. At this time, the work should be stopped for cleaning. To clean the whole thing in the drying tower, you need to open the cleaning door and clean the funnel with a long broom. When the composite material at the bottom comes out, the supply boiler is opened, the refrigerator is opened, the water flow is turned on, and tap water is used to wash the water in the boiling granule drying tower.
2. After a period of operation, the spray dryer requires the necessary inspection and maintenance of the cooking pellet dryer. For delivery systems, make sure filters, tubes, valves, nozzles, etc. are installed. If it is clogged, clean it regularly, check for wear on the cooking particle dryer, and replace the cooking particle dryer if necessary.
3. After operating for a certain period of time, check that the pump is not leaking oil and that the pressure gauge and oil level are normal. For rotary dryers, make sure the shaft and bearings are low in oil and hot. If there is vibration, noise, etc., clean the oil line, pump, and oil line filter as necessary.
4. In case of emergency, the equipment should be shut down immediately and the blower and material pump should be shut down first. In the event of a sudden power failure, the gas engine should be pulled out to allow the tower body to cool naturally, next, you need to open the drain valve to drain the sludge into the sludge tube and clean the device.
