Preparation for Soxhlet extractor operation
1. Sample preparation: (The sample rule is based on the net thousand, and the quarter method is required to sample evenly when sampling.) Cereals: grains and beans (except peanuts> take out 30-50g of dry samples to remove impurities , Grind through a round hole sieve with a diameter of 1.0m, and put it into a jar for later use. Small grain oils: such as sesame, rapeseed, etc., take out about 20g of the clean and dry sample from impurities, and put it into a jar for use.
2. Large-grain oils: such as peanuts, castor seeds, sunflower seeds, etc., take 30~50g of the net dry sample, peel off the shells one by one, weigh the kernel shells separately, calculate the percentage of kernel weight, and then slice into a jar for later use .
3. Wash the extraction bottle with distilled water until there is no impurities left in the cylinder. Place it in a drying oven for about 1 hour (G temperature is 105°C), take out the serial number, weigh it and move it into a desiccator to cool for later use.
4. Put the cylindrical filter paper bucket into the filter paper bucket holder. (Note that the upper mouth of the filter paper should not be higher than the inner groove of the filter paper bucket rack)
5. Check whether the power supply is in good condition and whether the water source is connected securely.
6. Turn on the power switch, set the temperature of the temperature controller and the temperature adjustment knob, and preheat for 15 minutes.
